my old hot rodin buddy c. b. had a heart atack today. dangit. he was here saturday. we put some new tail lights in his sons pickup.hes in icu now. cant go see him. his dr. put him out so he cant move around. his wife is gona keep us posted on his condition. he had a double bi-pass done. hes holdin his oun rite now.we built him a 327 and put it in his s10 this past several months. its a wild little thing.we did all the work out in our front yard. hahaha. it was a hoot.im prayin hes gona be ok.dadburnit i hate things like this but the older i get the more folks this seems to happen to.hes ben a good friend. known him a long time.
Dang Geeze, I hate to hear about your Bud - - - I will put him on my prayer list along with T.J., Donna and others. One of the worst things about getting older is watching your friends go thru some hard times with their health.

Thats to bad geeze,, gettin old is certainly gonna be a bitch.. and watching our buds fall by the wayside is the hardest part,, in the last 2 years there have been 5 Xemployees and longtime friends past on,, 3 by cancer, and 2 Heart attacks,, It really hits home when it happens so close to home,, makes you realize how short life can be,, really makes me wonder,, cause I am older than any of them,, I guess age don't have a lot to do with it if your health isn't there,
Hope your bud gets well soon,, keep the positive thoughts going...

i just talked to c b's wife. we wont get to see him yet. the dr. had to put him back under. he cant breathe on his own. dangit i hate this. but i do think he will make it.
i went to see cb today.they said he wouldn't know i was there but he was able to open his eyes, move his legs, and squeeze my hand, so i know he knew i was there.he was still in and out. also still had breathing tube in, but did try to speak.his ex-wife, who he lives with, was there and told me the dr had just left and said that his blood gases looked good and that they were hopeful for his recovery.
guess who just called me on his own breathe?CB!!!!!He said he would be home in 3 days.thanks guys for your prayers, i guess he heard them all.i have put this on most all the forums i go to and i do think it does some good.

yes folks god is good. alot happened in 28 hours. c b didnt look too good yesterday. he didnt talk long but that was the best phone call ive had in a good while.
