My basment work area....

S4010504.JPGJust a couple shots of my basement bench area.  I never realize that it was possible to fit 50 lbs of crap into a 10 lb. bag until I started cleaning it up....

In a while, Chet.

I'd show you a pic of mine but I can't find it.  It's under all the clutter somewhere.  I always thought if your work area was that clean, you needed more to do.  (mavbe I'm just a slob).-----LOLno

oh yea schnitz,i like that old hand saw.which one is it>is it one of the old saws with the good high carbon blades?i had an old diston i could sharpen up and cut through a 2x4 in 3 strokes.the old timers didnt struggle that much with their old tools.back in the old days they kept their tools in top condition and they worked great.i was lucky enough to work with some dang good craftsman when i was a kid.those old poots could turn out alot of work with no power tools at all.

hey, Half, are you familiar with "Miss Lucy's Cajun Cooking Show"? - - - the reason I ask is that she always says "a messy cook is a good cook" biggrin  Wonder if the same thing applies to us knuckle draggers, fixeruppers and ductapers ?????

I have no idea how old it is, or what brand, but it sure cuts slow and clean.  I'd never used what could be called a finish crosscut saw until I used this one.  But, I'll add this about the Irwin in front of it.  That saw rivals my Skilsaw or tablesaw for flat ripcutting.  It's teeth are sharp in both directions, and the handle just "fits" my hand very well.

In a while, Chet.

BTW, I'm not showing any more pics of the basement shop because I can barely find the floor right now.....
