Welder cart I made....

I finally got this all smoothed, painted, and loaded with equipment tonight.  Let me know what you think....

WOW   That's a nice cart,, lots of room for necessities,  saved your self some bucks there,,
Is that a centry welder on top?? how do you like it? 220 or 110 ?

and a Lincoln or Hobart stick ?

I have a Miller 170 challenger wire feed,, it'll handle stuff up to about 3/8, but most of the stuff I do is sheetmetal, from maybe 20 ga up to 16 ga , mostly 18 or 19 if I can find it,,and for the bigger stuff I have a miller Tig 235,, handles anything I need to do,,

Yeah, that's a 110 volt Century 85 flux core (for now--I'll upgrade when I use up the old wire), and a Lincoln 225 stick.  The Pro 100 is my dads (I had to fix it for him...), and it is flux core as well.  I've been very pleased with all three, and from my experience now I'll add that better grades of flux core wire do yield better results, more so than individual welders.  I had to buy a new roll for dads welder, swapped it to mine for a bit, and my machine suddenly yielded equal welds to his.  Swapped my old roll to his, it got more spatter (similar to what mine gave me).  So I think there is a difference in flux wire quality.

I got my Century from cboy over on HR.com, and he sold me the torch kit (less the tanks) at the same time.  Recently, he cleared out the shop and cut me a screaming deal (FREE) on a HF bandsaw as well.  I will owe him my firstborn.  I'm not kidding.  He said he was just glad it went to someone who would enjoy using it, and use it often.  Not sure what I'll fab up next, but I still have a half a roll of flux wire to use up.....

The only thing I wish I had done better was I wish I would have set it up better so I could add one of my bench grinders to it at a later time.  Maybe I'll figure something else out later.....

Organized??  Me?????  I hope you remember that I haven't shown any pictures of the rest of my basement shop.  And that was done for a reason.  An atomic bomb of useless junk--err treasures--- exploded there over the last 9 1/2 years.....

Let me "ECHO" Bad"s comments and also say WELCOME - - - New Mexico is a beautiful state and, if I 'm not mistaken,  Bad's got some roots in that state confused.gif

One thing he did fail to mention is that "hip boots are optional" biggrin
