Could Have Been Worse !

Our furnace went out during the night last night and I have called the reapairman.  Even tho this is not the best time to have it go out, I sure am thankful and happy that it didn't do it when we were having those record 4 days of below freezing tempa a couple of weeks agl.

I climbed up in the attic and it looks like the pilot light is out so, hopefully, it will just be a matter of relighting that and maybe a little tweeking of some kind.

Is it breeezy up there?........LOL

It is probably a thermal couple.....If that doesn't work, the gas valve thinks the pilot has gone out and shuts off the gas. Safety feature....only about a $20 part........Of course, there is that service call.

that dang cold spell busted all our dadburn pipes, pvc,. i tore the whole mess out and put it up inside the dang house. only 2 ft. to the vanity,4ft. to the toilet,6ft to the washer, i fy. to the tub and shower, and 5ft ti the kitchen sink. there was a hech of alot of pipe under the house. i have no idea why. it had ben patched everywhere. looked like a chinese puzzle.now the only pipe under the house is the main line.its all temporary anyway.it all comes out as the house progresses.im hopein to sell it and let someone else deal with it.i missed a feller yesterday from an investment firm. he will be back on thuresday.we'll see what happens.wish us luck folks. we want to get the heck out of here!
