I recently made these...

I had picked up a pallet of "value" wood at the local Menards store a while back, and in the assortment, there were over sixty 24"-28" 5/4 deck boards.  So I cut them down to 22" and drywall screwed them together to make backyard "pavers".  Very cheap to make all 11 of these (the whole pallet of wood cost me $30), and I think I have a buyer with an order for another 14.  I'm selling them for $7 apiece.

I also built this table for my wood lathe.  Solid 2 by 4 construction (more wood from that value wood pallet), with a 3/4" plywood top (I love city spring cleanup...).  I do plan on adding a drawer for the tools.

In a while, Chet.

Backyard pavers like these are kind of like those flagstone path deals you see in all those fancy landscaped yards.  I've used 6 of them as a temporary path out to my deck (it's about 12' from my house...).  The guy who wants them is just going to lay them over a plain concrete patio surface to dress it up a bit, and make it a bit more forgiving on his feet than warm cement.
