Re-chalking the Bathtub

It's time to take out the old chalk around the bathtub and put in new stuff.  The old chalk was a DAP product that I used after I did the tile around the wall above the tub and it has held up pretty well except for the area  along the wall where the fixtures are.  I imagine that it stays the wettest.

This DAP chalk was not the bargain brand and there was lots of brands to choose from but I thought maybe one of Y'all had used something that you would recommend.  So if you have any suggestions of a particular brand of tub and tile chalk, I would like to know.

thanks,
mello

Dap products are probably the best sellers, and I have always had good luck with it,,[we used it at work forever] but I think they probably make a type specifically for caulking bathtubs and showers,
I know I used some caulk that I had left over from some job somewhere,, and used it to caulk the shower,, it peeled up pretty quickly,, I assume it was intended to caulk before painting maybe,, and was old to boot,,,,,,,,,
I need to re caulk the shower in one of the bathrooms,, but it leaks around the door bottom,, bought the enclosure at a clearance sale of bathroom show room stuff,, and whoever installed it for the showroom,, cut the gasket around the door too short at the bottom , and I can't find any gasket material that will work,,, BIG GOBS OOF CAULK will probably be the remedyconfuse

Picked up some DAP and got'er done !

After all these years I found out that I was putting waaaaaaaay too much chalk on.no

Of course this job would not pass Donna's creative eyes would it Pat???

Please ignore the hard water stains in the bottom of the tub.  It was that way when we moved in.
