Good weather makes me "act" younger !

And I usually end up paying for it within a few days or the night after.

However, this weather has been so "drop dead gorgeous" that I just can't stay inside and in front of the Tube so yesterday I started on the Spring maintenance for the Riding Mower.  (I can hears Dave going ?HUH?)  Managed to find everything I needed at Lowe's last week so I replaced the plug, gas filter and oil and then started on cleaning up the motor and everything that is underneath the seat in the engine cowl.  Once I got started, I found a bare wire from the small engine fire that my son had after I had my mini-stroke.  We thought we had replaced all the bare and burnt wires but we had missed the one coming from the ?magneto? to the solenoid and I only noticed it when it happened to spark as I was messing with all the grass that had gotten under the heat reflector plates that surround the engine.  Lucky me, eh?  Anyhow, I managed to get all the engine, starter and most electrical junctions free of grease and grime and even got the blade sharpened and all the "gunk" scraped from underneath the mowing deck.

I picked up some spray "Gunk Engine Cleaner" to do the rest of the steering and drive linkage and I should be good to go except for having the belts replaced.  Don't think my old bod will stand doing that myself and there is a longtime small engine repairman on the way to town.  He inheirited the bussines from his Dad and he also is a Biker and a pretty cool dude so I'll give him some business before mowing season gets here.

OK, I'll s'hup now but just wanted to post something on here before the cobwebs got too thick. biggrin

80 degrees and I'm back outside.

I havn't done anything on that yet,, But The boss and I were talking about having to get something going,, I have been told that selling food (like BBQ and burgers)isn't allowed,, but I wouldn't be selling Food,, just the sesonings,, with a free sample on a bite of chicken for FREE,, but only if they want a sample,, I wouldn't be selling the cooked food,
I'm gonna give it a try anyway,, all they can do is tell me to stop,, RIGHT?????biggrin

You folks and your good weather. BAH!!! HUMBUG!!!

It was 0* when I got up this morning and tonight - the prognosticators say maybe as low as -1 to -10  tonight, but supposed to be in the 40s by Friday. The snow blower - still worked just fine yesterdaysmile

BR - why not use a dish and some small crackers like Wheat Thins to use for your spice samples mixed in a sauce. I wont eat anyone's cooked food unless I know the person - even at the grocery store where the little old ladies try to temp you with the latest artificial junk they just cooked up

You have a point there Dave,, I don't know what kind of sauce would work with that spice,, its more for meat, and salads,, and  getting rid of unwanted cats , and dogs,, no

My $0.02 is - - - since the Spices lean towards meat and/or salad then those would

probably be your best marketing tool as far as free samples are concerned.

As for me, I am stupid and I will taste any and all free sampleshungry.gif unless it's something

that I don't like.nodisbelief

Of course all of my blahblah.gif depends on the rules of the Swap Meet and the amount of

trouble that you want to go to in marketing your product. sprint.gif

Yeah - I know, tough decision. As MY says, he eats anything - but at any swap meets in da North, or at least my area - not a chance!! Many of the big ones are in MA or CT and some of those folks are ...... differentevileye
