Simple birdhouse...

I took a design I saw elsewhere, modified it, then set out to build 150 of them.  So far, the olny costs incurred are about $75 in paint and a box of staples at $8.  But, painting all the parts sucks donkey dong...

Sell most of them, give a few as gifts, and even donate a couple (Navy Club and to the local breast cancer research place).

Already thought of that, Meller.  There's 3 screws coming in from the sides (2 on one side, one on the other) so the house lifts offright quick for easy cleaning.  Wish my house was like that!

Yep, each one is handmade.  Each log starts out as rejected window sash part from work, that gets tablesaw cut torough size, then planed to 3/4" squared and then sent to the router for final rounding.  In mass quantity, it's not too bad to do a box of parts....
