First time in over 30 years

That I have bought/owned/used a push mower of any kind but, with this new yard and the amount of trees, bushes and other stuff that is scattered all over, a riding lawn mower would be usless and you'd wear out the reverse gear hahahahahaha   Also the front road ditch is steep which means that a self-propelled mower would also not be feisable so I bought a cheap plain vannila Yardman 21" push mower from Home Depot and I have found out how out of shape my legs are but they will get in shape quick with this little bugger.

I sold my old riding lawn mower for $200 and paid $161 for the new one.  Hell, even if it doesn't make 3 years, what the hell????

Anything positive to do with your health is a good thing!!!

I use my push, well, self propelled, several times a year to do the front yard and it usually takes an adult beverage to resuscitate me afterwards. Mine was my MIL's husbands (a despicable individual who was not my DW's father) so was a freebie that I've been using since 2001. The nice part of mine - it's a bagging mower whch since we have a lot fewer trees makes clearing the fall leaves pretty easy

Damn-it,, now you're reminding me that I need ( HAVE) to mow the back yard today,(Boss just issued the order as she walked out the door for work a few minutes ago,,) I had the "forget-a-bout it process going pretty good, now this pops up,,,

Maybe Ole Coop wants to make 5 bucks or so,,idea.gif

at least the mower is self propelled,, well kinda,,,,biggrin

you don't have much of a yard anyway do ya? no tall overgrown grass and weed patch like mine?

My thinking on all of this was that with the large ditch and grass under shrubry, the lighter the better and I didn't want the front wheels pulling against me if I couldn't just pull it backazzwards.no
