Touch lamps - how to fix the switch?

I have a nice table lamp (Corona A 42011) with a 3 stage touch switch. The switch has gone crazy, turning on & off, cycling through the stages by itself etc.  Does anyone know how to fix these things?

Good find Meller, even I would have had to go digging for this one.

Thanks, Mello Yello for your helpful reply. I have started trawling the internet to find a replacement touch dimmer control here in Australia but haven't really had time to get anywhere yet. I'll also dismantle the lamp tomorrow morning to see what one of these things looks like. At least I'm on the way now - thanks again

you're more than welcome - - - I was lucky to find it so quickly

we have a saying in Texas that goes:

"Even a old blind hawg finds an acorn now and then" and I guess that was the case with me yesterday.

Good Luck and please let us know what you find out in your quest,

meller
