Gotta say happy spring today (somewhere, anyhow!!)

To welcome in the spring zephyrs and warm air - WE HAD THE @#$%^&* BIGGEST SNOWFALL OF THE WINTER YESTERDAY. Phew, got that off my chest. I had to dig out the driveway twice, 6-7 inches of the soggy, wet, crud the first time, 4-5 the second. It has settled down so I'm only seeing 8-10 inches on the bird bath this morning (after another inch or so overnight.

I hope the rest of you fine folks are enjoying the fine weather - elsewhere. My camera didn't like the stuff either, but here's a photo before it stopped from yesterday as a reminder of what COULD happen to you during climate change. And the pup in the AVATAR - she looked like that a couple times too - but she loves the stuff.

Wow, Dave, the only thing we're covered up with is Green Tree Pollen, however, it is raining some so maybe that crap will end up in the ditches where it belongs - - - I'm tired of having to put armorall on my Wallyworld vinyl old fart shoes just to make them black again.

I plan to grill some K-bobs with beef, taters and veggies today, so I went out to check the grill and load it with charcoal and the weather was actually damp and nippy. Wind was pretty steady outa the North, it's 56 degrees, cloudy and they are predicting a high of 79 today and a 43 low tonight - - - - - 'ol Sol had better hurry if it's gonna warm up that much today. I love grilling when it's kinda cool outside.

I'll have to clean the snow off before next Tuesday. The kitchen rehab has started - the new Samsung reefer is due to be delivered and has to come in that way (OMG - those gadgets got pricy). I WILL do some work on the '31 before any kitchen tear out starts though, and that's a replacement for the cold air leaking sliding door so I'll need warmer weatherb

Well - great day here, all the way up to 35*

A couple others and I on the Town Open Space group took a walk in the woods (one of our town's nature preserves) yesterday to define walking trails. F@#$% cold, but sure was pretty. As you can see, we had a snack too
