Weedeater String Trimmer Primer Bulb Fix !

Mowed the front yard this morning and when I got the weed-whacker to finish up I noticed that the bulb was busted all to pieces.  Well, naturally I tried to find a replacement everywhere I could think of but with no success.  So I decided to see if I could take the rubber bulb out of the housing and maybe find one that size or similar but I soon found out that the primer bulb and housing is also part of a shaft that goes thru the carb and does not come apart.

I remembered that I had a package of primer bulbs left over from David's Hot Rod Tiller Xmas Present and after finding them I realized that they were way to large.

Then I got to messing around to see if maybe I could slip it on the outside of the housing instead of the regular inside with a retaining ring installation - - - AND low and behold I realized that it would fit very snuggly over the housing so I cut the old bulb off with a utility knife and did the old "Trojan Maneuver" and it fit just perfect and it also cranks like a dream now.

Yeah, Amigo, if it's got more than two movable parts and I'm tinkering with it then the Wiffy puts 911 on stand-by.
