Summit's gotta Sale 'goin on !

Just got an email from Summit Racing and they've got some pretty good deals going on now.  I especially liked this Generator.

Did a bunch of searching on the web. Didn't turn up much. Other than it actually has a 1 year warranty (Some have as little as 30 days), there isn't much good said about it. Chinese cheap, discontinued, can't get parts for it, and dies young.

$299 is a typical price, sometimes with free shipping.

I know, it's my fault, I accept the blame.

I was leery that's all. A month or two back, my daughter in law was talking about buying a generator from Menard's that was on sale. When I went looking, it had even worse reviews, and only had a 30 day warranty.

The generator I'd like tips the scales at 4 grand, and doesn't even have an engine!!!! However, it is American made, carries a good warranty, provides clean power for the electronics and is nothing but a dream.

He probably can't stand up with all of that insulated garb on, 'cause it's been pretty frigid here in Tejas.  OLD GEEZE would call that guy "Left Footed"

Ya need a good generator? Here's a 16 megawatt surplus GE gas turbine-genset that is probably fairly inexpensive. Not only can you power your house, you can light up the whole town. These were a fairly small version, this size now obsolete, of what I worked on most of my GE career:
