Yard of the Month? yeah right !

I still think it's someone's bad sarcastic joke but they swear it's not.

Take your props wherever you can get them. The yard looks pretty good to me, and I know you put the effort into it, so enjoy the sign for a spell.

Maybe the award is really for the brown grass,, showing appreciation for not using precious water, and running up you're water bill, Our lawn has absolutely no sign of green grass,, its all brown  except for the bare spots where its died completely ,, but we do have  a brand new lawn mower, I guess it will last a lot longer if it doesn't get used Right,,  we are having a really bad drought this year, no rain for months,, wild fires everywhere,,  just this last Monday, a train trestle caught on fire, and they had to let it burn itself out  because it was a really hard place for the fire dept to get into, and just kept it in check with small pumpers,, we could see the black smoke rising just as it started .. sparks from a passing freight train started the dry grass on fire,,

the world is coming to a end I think,, but Im sure Obama will get blamed,,,biggrinconfuse

Tell you're neighbor to go piss up a rope,,, he's just jealous he was passed by,, better yet let him borrow ( or rent) the sign for a few days,,,

It for sure is better then mine though as we have had little rain these past couple months --- then there's the fact I'd rather be sitting under my camper awning and watching birds flutter by then mowing, trimming weeding, fertilizing, watering, planting flowers and shrubs
