Scotch eggs

do you guys do theSe morsels, my wife and kids love em.

Basically it's a hard boiled egg, peeled and wrapped in sausage meat, although I put a thin layer of relish on the sausage meat before wrapping it round the egg. Use moist hands to encapsulate whole egg, roll in breadcrumbs then deep fry til golden and cooked. I put cling film on the bench and pat a circle of meat about 1/4 inch thick then relish, then roll.

i think they are called scotch eggs because it's a cheap wee meal invented by frugal scotch men,lol

I've seen recipes for them. but never the real item.  Sound good to me, but my favorite meal is "breakfast" - eggs, meat, and bread of one sort or another, so I'd probably take right to them.  I think in Scotland they just call them "eggs?", maybe?  We have rearranged our television watching source from regular cable to a smart tv, and are getting most of our programs from Netflix, now.  There are a lot of programs from the BBC and Ausstralia, and New Zealand on there, ao we have taken up trying to learn how to speak, or at least understand "proper" English.  In several of those programs, I have noted that the characters, of one sort or another, ask for "Scotch Eggs", so my interest has been piqued; may have to try them.

They are loved by most people I know, mine are better, so they say, because a bit of relish inside the meat. I'm a pretty good cook and do recommend these. Our accents definitely different to you guys. I enjoy your guy Andrew Zimmerman and also Anthony Bourdain. Bizarre foods America a must watch here down under.

good luck rrumbler
