am I The Bandit?

My friend and contractor that lives just down the street from us was over about a weeke ago and mentioned listing his Lithium Dewalt Tools on Ebay.  When he told me what he had and said he didn't know whether to ask $250 or $300, I told him not to bother because they were sold.  I wrote him a check for $300 and he dropped them by today.
1 charger
1 skill saw
1 recip saw
1 jig saw
1 vacuum
1 grinder
2 impact drills
4 batteries
1 BOOM BOX

They are about 4 years old and everything works.
So what Y'all think?

Looks like a good deal as long as the batteries are in good shape and hold a good charge. I like cordless tools for their versatility (dont need an outlet).

I just called the anonymous crime prevention tip hotline.

Looks like it is probably about a grand's worth, new, so at four years and thirty percent, pretty fair deal.

I just learnt that the Boom Box is also a Charger and the Charger is 12 volt cig lighter - - - can I buy an adapter for the cig charger and use it with 120 ?

I'll probably give most of this to our boys 'cause I damned sure don't need them all.

I have a bunch of DeWalt tools  left over from the working days,, and they still work perfectly,,,  mostly screw guns,, but the saws sure come in handy,, especially out where power could be a chore to string a cord,, those look to be close to new,, hardly used, you got a hell of a deal,,, good job Amigo  now go use them

I only see 2 batterys,, but that's probably enough if you keep them fully charged,, it takes a while to get a full charge on those batts,, so be sure to keep them charged,,  even if they aren't fully discharged ,put the batt on the charger when finished using it  , so it will be ready when you need it next,,,,

Ok!!!  OK!!  so what??  those 2 batts blend into the rest of the YELLOW and BLACK,,, YOU HAVE 4 batts,, should last you a little while,, AS LONG AS YOU CAN REMEMBER TO PLUG IN THE USED UP ONES,,  tie a rope around youre pinky to remind you,,, still made a good deal,, even BETTER NOW THAT YOU HAVE 4 batts,,,,  biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Amigo, I will be lucky to end up with one battery after our boys get thru picking and choosing but that's why I bought all that stuff - - - Lord knows I ain't gonna use them LOL I'll probably keep the vacuum, a battery, the DC charger, a impact drill and maybe the recip-saw - - Bo has already got one battery and the radio and the other sons are coming over Saturday to a BBQ gathering some of us old Drafting Company friends are throwing here at the house. I doubt there will be any remaining tools after they leave.
