Musical Fruit Soup

Cooler weather always seems to jump start my boring cooking ?brain? (aka Gumbo etc) and the other day I picked up some "Hurst's Cajun 15 Bean Soup Mix".  Ain't much to it except following the instructions and adding some ingredients such as 3 deboned smoke ham hocks, sauteed jalapeno-anaheim-celery-garlic-green own-yawns, water and the cajun seasoning packet.  About 2 hours on the cook and 30 minutes to prepare veggies and ham stock.

Of course a skillet of Cornbread is "required" and the appetite will come riding in on the aroma.

I prefer this over the cornbread swimmin in pot liquor.
