Decided to put this in Plumbing Section because it has to do with DIVERTING WATER.

I'm almost finished, except for silicone caulking the joints in the morning when it's cooler.

since I just spent some buck$ getting this house leveled, my goal is to divert ALL of the ground surface water somewhere other than under the house - - - sooooo I decided to divert the shop roof water drainage first - - - went to HD and got some vinyl rain gutter/accessories and put them up on the house side "ALL BY MYSELF" - - - haven't had an "act of God test" yet but it seems OK.
I must admit that there is a "tad" of Bubba Engineering there but not enuff that anyone would notice
I only cut myself 3 times but if I'd used alum then I'd probably be in ICU

Looks like it'll work to me. I came to the conclusion long ago that guttering is an exercise in experimentation that usually works if you are competently sentient. I had some Rube Goldberg looking downspouts on our place in the mountains because of the rather extreme slope of the ground, multi-level building, and decks, but they worked pretty well.
