Publishers Clearing House winner

I got a letter from Publisher's clearing house this week. On the outside it didn't say I "might" be a winner or I "could" be a winner like they usually do. It said I WAS a winner. My heart rate went up, my breathing got faster and shallow, my hands shook a little bit as I carefully opened it. There was a LOT of stuff inside, so I carefully looked at both sides of each piece of paper and set them in a pile until I finally found a check made out payable to me. My name was spelled correctly and the amount was wait for it.... $10. No fine print on the front or back saying I'm buying something if I endorse it. I read the attached letter several times to be sure that this was a real check. And finally I took it to my bank and deposited it. Obviously I'm not buying a house or a car or an Hawaiian vacation, but it's 10 bucks I didn't have before. I wonder how many of these checks get thrown out as "junk" mail and not cashed? I've been playing and entering their sweepstakes for about 40 years and this is the very first time I've won anything specifically from Publisher's Clearing House. I have won other prizes from other sweepstakes over the years, nothing over $1000 at any one time. The odds of being a PCH grand prize winner are even higher than Power Ball or Mega Millions, but if played on line, it's free. Anyone else ever enter the Publisher's Clearing House? Anyone win anything?
